It was a bright, sunny morning on the peaceful farm, and little Lala woke up with a spark of mischief in her eyes. Today, she felt like having her own secret adventure. While Mom was busy preparing breakfast, Lala tiptoed quietly out the door, determined to explore the farm without being noticed. She knew she wasn’t allowed to wander alone, especially near the water, but curiosity tugged at her playful heart.
Lala made her way through the fields, giggling softly as she hid behind tall corn stalks. The smell of fresh grass and blooming flowers filled the air. She spotted the ducks waddling toward the pond and decided to follow them. The moment she saw the shimmering water, excitement bubbled inside her. Without hesitation, she dipped her toes into the cool pond and splashed with delight, forgetting all rules and warnings.
She twirled, hopped, and sent ripples across the water, laughing at her reflection. The ducks quacked noisily, joining her joy. Mud splashed onto her clothes, but Lala didn’t care. To her, this was freedom—her secret world of fun.
Back at home, Mom realized Lala was gone. Panic rushed through her as she searched every corner of the house. Calling out her name, Mom hurried to the farm. Soon, she heard faint laughter coming from the pond. There was Lala, soaked, muddy, and happily splashing away as if nothing was wrong.
“Lala!” Mom called, half worried, half relieved. Lala froze, wide-eyed, knowing she’d been caught. She slowly stepped out, head lowered, expecting scolding. But Mom, seeing her joyful muddy face, let out a long sigh. “Oh, Lala… you scared me,” she said softly.
Mom gently wiped the mud off Lala’s cheek. “If you wanted to play, you could have asked.” Lala hugged her tightly, whispering, “I’m sorry, Mom. I just wanted fun.” Mom smiled, understanding her curious little spirit.
Hand in hand, they walked home. Lala learned that adventures are sweeter when shared—and that no secret fun is worth worrying the one who loves you most. From that day, she promised never to hide again… at least, not without telling Mom first.
