A Simple But Loving Meal Between Dad and Baby Monkey Cubis!

The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky with soft shades of orange and pink. It was the quiet hour of the day, when the farm calmed and everyone prepared for the evening. Baby monkey Cubis sat on a wooden stool, his little legs swinging back and forth, waiting eagerly. Today was special—he was going to share dinner with his father.

Dad arrived carrying a small tray. On it were the simplest foods: a bowl of warm rice, sweet bananas, and a cup of coconut water. There were no feasts, no fancy dishes, just a humble meal. But to Cubis, it felt like a royal banquet—because it was made with love.

Cubis’ eyes sparkled as Dad placed a banana slice on his plate. “Eat slowly, little one,” Dad said gently. Cubis nodded, but couldn’t help taking a big bite, cheeks puffed out like a tiny squirrel. Dad chuckled warmly, ruffling his soft fur.

They ate together in peaceful silence for a moment. Cubis glanced up at his father, studying him with admiration. “Dad,” he asked softly, “why do we always eat the same food?” Dad paused, then smiled. “Because it’s not the food that makes a meal special, Cubis. It’s who you share it with.”

Hearing this, Cubis felt something warm in his heart. He picked up a piece of banana and offered it to Dad with his tiny hand. “Then you eat too, Daddy,” he said. Dad accepted with a smile, touched by his son’s sweetness.

They laughed together as Cubis accidentally spilled some rice, trying to imitate how Dad ate calmly. “One day,” Dad said, “you’ll be strong like me. But first, you must learn to eat without making a mess!” Cubis giggled, promising to try.

As the last light of day faded, Dad lifted Cubis into his arms. The meal was finished, but the memory lingered. No grand table, no special recipes—just a father, a child, and a quiet moment filled with love.

For Cubis, this simple dinner became a beautiful memory. A reminder that the greatest meals are not measured by flavor, but by the hearts gathered around the table.
