Cubis the monkey is worried about spilling the bottle of chili sauce!

Cubis, the ever-curious little monkey, had a talent for getting himself into funny situations—but this time, his mischief came with a fiery twist. It all began on a lazy afternoon in the kitchen, where Mom was preparing lunch. On the table stood a tall, bright red bottle of chili sauce, glowing like danger to anyone who dared touch it. Of course, that meant one thing—Cubis had to investigate.

He quietly climbed onto the chair, reaching for the mysterious bottle with both hands. Just as his fingers wrapped around it, Mom turned her back. Perfect timing, Cubis thought. But the moment he lifted it, the bottle wobbled. His eyes widened. His heart skipped. This wasn’t just any bottle—it was hot trouble.

Terrified of making a mess, he froze, hands trembling. What if it spilled all over the floor? What if Mom’s favorite sauce shattered? Worse… what if it splashed on him? He had tasted chili once and remembered the fiery burn on his tongue. Never again!

Balancing on tiptoes, Cubis tried to gently set it back, but his tail twitched from nerves. The bottle tilted dangerously. “Ahh!” he squeaked, hugging it tight as if cradling a newborn. A single drop dripped onto his finger. He sniffed it, then yelp! The heat made him flap his hand wildly, blowing on it like it was on fire.

At that very moment, Mom turned around.

“Cubiiiis!” she exclaimed, rushing over just in time to grab the bottle. Cubis leapt down and hid behind a chair, covering his mouth with both hands, big eyes filled with guilt. But instead of scolding, Mom burst into laughter. “Were you trying to cook… or explode the house?”

Relieved yet embarrassed, Cubis sheepishly peeked out. Mom dabbed his tongue with milk, calming his panic. From that day forward, every time he saw the chili sauce, he’d salute it like a soldier facing a powerful enemy—no touching, just respect.

Cubis learned an important kitchen rule: Curiosity is okay, but chili is chaos!
