Lala Felt Itchy and Uncomfortable, So She Went Swimming!

Lala the mischievous little monkey woke up one sunny morning feeling unusually uneasy. She kept scratching her arms, legs, and even her fluffy tail. “What is wrong with me today?” she murmured, wriggling around in her bed of soft leaves. Her mother noticed her discomfort and gently asked, “Lala, are you itchy again?” Lala nodded with a frown. The heat and tiny insect bites were driving her crazy!

She tried everything—rolling on the grass, rubbing against tree trunks, even fanning herself with a banana leaf. But nothing helped. The itchiness only got worse. Suddenly, she remembered the sparkling river at the edge of the forest. “Maybe water will make me feel better!” she thought excitedly. Without wasting another second, Lala scampered through the trees straight toward the river.

When she arrived, the cool breeze and glistening water looked so inviting. She dipped one toe in and sighed with relief. Then—with a joyful squeal—splash! Lala jumped right in. The refreshing water wrapped around her like a soothing blanket. She floated on her back, letting the gentle currents wash away all discomfort. “Ahh… this is perfect!” she giggled.

Nearby, a group of ducklings paddled around her, quacking curiously. A friendly fish peeked from below, and colorful dragonflies danced on the water’s surface. Lala waved at them all happily. She scrubbed softly with smooth stones and played with floating leaves, forgetting all about her itchiness.

After a long, peaceful swim, Lala climbed onto a warm rock to dry. The sun hugged her gently, and she realized she felt completely better—no more scratching, no more discomfort. Mother arrived with a towel made of large leaves and smiled proudly. “See, sometimes nature holds the best medicine,” she said.

Lala nodded wisely. “When I feel uncomfortable, I’ll remember to stay calm and find a gentle way to heal.” On the way home, she hummed a happy tune, her fur clean and her spirit refreshed.

That night, Lala slept soundly, dreaming of rivers, dragonflies, and the magic of a simple swim. It was a day she would never forget—the day water washed all her worries away.
