It was a bright and breezy morning when Mom decided it was the perfect day to add some color to the farm. She gathered a basket full of flower seedlings—marigolds, sunflowers, daisies, and roses. Just then, little Lala appeared, rubbing her eyes sleepily but eager with curiosity. When she saw the basket, her eyes lit up. “Mom, can I help?” she chirped excitedly.
Mom smiled warmly. “Of course, Lala. Today, we’re going to make the farm more beautiful than ever.” Lala clapped her hands and followed Mom to the garden patch near the farmhouse, determined to be the best little helper.
First, Mom showed her how to dig small holes with a tiny shovel. Lala tried copying her but ended up making big, funny mounds of dirt. She pouted for a moment, but Mom gently guided her hands. Soon, Lala was digging perfect little holes, proudly saying, “I’m a flower gardener now!”
They placed each seedling carefully into the earth. Lala talked to every flower as if they were her new friends. “Grow big and pretty, okay? I’ll visit you every day!” she whispered to a sunflower. Mom chuckled at her sweetness.
But the funniest moment came when Lala accidentally sat on a mud patch. Splat! Her pants were covered in dirt. She looked shocked—then burst into giggles. “I think the farm planted me!” she joked. Mom couldn’t help laughing too.
After all the flowers were planted, Lala helped carry the watering can. It was heavy, but she insisted on doing it herself. She carefully sprinkled water, though some of it splashed on her shoes and hair. “Oops! Flowers and Lala both get a bath today,” she giggled.
By afternoon, the flower beds were filled with color. The once plain corner of the farm now bloomed with life. Lala stood proudly, hands on her hips, admiring their work. “Mom, we made a rainbow on the ground!”
Mom hugged her and said, “Yes, and it’s even more beautiful because you helped.”
That day, Lala didn’t just plant flowers—she planted happiness across the farm, one giggle at a time.
